Welcome to my author page!

Writing has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, as well as a driving force in my life. Writing is therapy for me, so whenever I’m not doing it, everything else in my life goes a little haywire. It’s definitely best for my family and friends that I continue.

I’m currently seeking representation for my women’s fiction romantic suspense novel: THE PI’S SWEET LIES. Here’s a tagline for the novel: Commitment phobic Scarlet O’Brien learns that her ex-boyfriend died in a suspicious car crash and the PI, a former Navy Chief, who has her on his hot list, gets a little too familiar in his investigation.

In progress is a new domestic suspense thriller called: HIGH STAKES ENCOUNTER. Here’s a tagline: Cherie Stone chooses a unique way of dealing with her mid-life crisis; she takes up lying, cheating, and gambling, but it’s better than feeling like she’s dying a slow death in suburbia with her controlling husband.

My first published novel on Amazon.com, SECRET AGENT OF GOD: THE CAPTIVE CLAIRVOYANT, is a new adult paranormal suspense thriller about twenty-year-old Janice Morrison, a single mom with the gift of prophecy. Janice is kidnapped by terrorists who want to use her gift to plan targeted attacks on US soil. Written in first person point of view, the story takes place both in the past and the present tense, switching back and forth between story lines. I enjoyed writing Janice’s story. Although she’s slight in stature, she doesn’t take abuse from anyone, even when her mother, who abandoned her as a child, returns and makes a scene at a funeral. Janice has a snarky sense of humor, and a hot-blooded Italian love interest in the story who adds an element of spice.

My middle grade short story series, SEEING SCARLET, are coming of age character studies for the aforementioned new novel, featuring a much younger Scarlet O’Brien, her older sister Catherine, and Scarlet’s best friend Maggie. Here are the links:

  1. Hi Eileen:

Congratulations on your website. You are way ahead of me. I heard you are a runner, too. Are you preparing for a particular race? I am hoping to run in the Baltimore Marathon on Oct 13.

I really like your writing style (except for the paranormal stuff–I am a scientist and biased), by the way.

    Best,
    Chip Martin (WBB)

  2. Great article Eileen! I pains me to hear people discuss politics when they really haven’t taken the time to educate themselves on the issues.

  5. Hi Eileen,

At the beginning of this year I wrote a short post ” PLEASE, NO RELATIVE SECRETS ! ” which was about adopted people not being told of their background.

I feel quite passionate about this, and have received many positive responses.

So, as a follow-up, I’m contacting all my blog followers to ask if you would be so kind as to pass this link (below) on to as many contacts you have by whatever means you have (facebook, twitter, email etc).

If this saves just one person from being deprived of knowledge of their “natural” family members, then we have had success.

This is the link to pass on …… http://cartoonmick.wordpress.com/2013/01/01/please-no-relative-secrets/

    Thanking you in anticipation.

    Cheers

  13. I read your book and enjoyed it! I am not a scientist but definitely believe more in the spiritual side. Unusual theme. I hope the light at the end of the tunnel continues despite setbacks. I shared your book info on my blog. Merry Christmas!

    1. Thank you so much and it’s nice to know a fellow spiritual believer. I am terrible at checking my blog and have added this to my goals for 2021. I logged on today to see if it had been shutdown due to recent censorship issues spreading accross the Country. I hope you enjoyed Christmas and New Years! I am praying for all in 2021, we will see…
