Don’t forget to add Pinterest, Google+ and Stumbleupon to your list Eileen. Every one of us needs as much exposure as possible. From my point of view as a kindle only writer, if I manage to sell one copy of any of my books here in the UK each month I’m doing OK.
As far as my sales in France, Italy, Spain, Japan, India, Brazil, Mexico, despite Amazon having opened up outlets in the above countries, they are non existent. I do manage to sell the odd one or two in Germany, Canada and Australia. But the main market by far for my Kindle books is the US. I hope that helps you just a little. 🙂

Book marketing is a full time job and as you said just because you have followers doesn’t mean that you have sales. Plus the competition is ferocious. It’s a bit overwhelming for me but your post was very helpful.
Thank you for following my blog and for leading me here to your very informative blog. 🙂
