Golden Gate Cellars Chardonnay 2018 Carneros Reserve

Thank goodness for Bill the wine expert at Wegmans or I might have missed this one due to its sedate, unassuming label. Bill promised the wine was reminiscent of Rombauer, one of my all time favorites, and since I adore the Caneros Chardonnays, into my cart it went.

This reserve bottle at $29.99 was as smooth as butter and luxuriously mellow with subtle stone fruits.

Golden Gate Cellars offers a Sonoma Coast Chardonnay at $19.99 and a California Chardonnay at $9.99 both of which I plan to sample soon.

We enjoyed our Golden Gate with a savory cheese plate. Here’s a toast to finding brand new loves! 😍🥰😘
